There’s been some talk in the SEO industry of how assistant search, like what powers Google Home, will affect SEO, and whether SEOs can survive in a world without search results.
I’m writing my most recent Search Engine Land column on this subject and have been asking Google Home a number of questions in the process. Just now I asked it, “Is SEO dead?”, and it responded in the affirmative:

Interestingly, it omitted the rest of the featured snippet, which said that SEO wasn’t dead:
